Melissa Rock: President and Founder
Melissa Rock is a Principal Talent Agent/Manager 


Melissa Rock has been a Talent Agent for the past 26 years. Starting out in Advertising and Media in Toronto, she worked hand in hand with huge advertising Agencies creating campaign pitches and bringing their ideas to life.


Melissa was intrigued by the industry and decided to explore more facets of it in 1996. She began working as a Booking Assistant at a Toronto based Talent Agency where she learned the industry and developed her casting contacts.


Melissa opened FilmComm Talent in 2001 with a starting roster of 34 actors. She has worked tirelessly ever since to build an extremely strong and diverse roster of well trained and successful Principal Actors.


Melissa is very passionate about her actors achieving their goals and is relentless in the pursuit of their success.  Filmcomm has developed an extremely strong name in the industry due to Melissa's hard work, long hours, and not taking no for an answer.  FilmComm's roster is like a family...we all support each other and work hand in hand due to Melissa's unique approach to Talent Management.

Rodrick Rock: French Talent Agent / Young Talent Agent

Rodrick Rock comes to us with an extensive background in Marketing and Sales. He is fluent in French and specializes on our French UDA Roster.


He excels in communication and is very detail oriented and patient with new actors and parents.


He assists Filmcomm in all ways and handles all French voice and Television/Film projects.

Shakirah Rock: Social Media Assistant

Shakira is a full time assistant. She has been involved in the Television and Film industry from a young age, both as an actress and the daughter of an Agent.


She has worked on several sets for Family Channel and YTV both on camera and behind the scenes.


She is extremely tech savvy, she is in charge of our social media as well as assisting the Agents in the summers as part of her schooling.


A portion of her studies include Child Psychology at Queen's University and she hopes to combine her studies with this industry in the future as a Young Talent Agent.



Diane Williamson: Administrative Assistant / Accountant

Diane Williamson has a background as a musician, song writer, performer and software developer of accounting and special education applications.


Diane is our main accountant responsible for invoicing, she is relentless in ensuring production is on time with talent payments.


Diane also handles all website updates and is a general assistant to the Agents.
